The Oregon Trail Quilt Company was opened because I love quilting and sewing and saw a need for a shop in my community! I have been sewing and quilting since grade school, and previously owned 2 other shops in Kentucky and Oregon, so this was a natural. My goal is to bring you all of the latest in quality quilting fabrics, notions, patterns, and other sewing products and ideas to give you what you need to bring out your creativity in making quilts, wall hangings, potholders, clothing, or whatever else makes you happy!
As things evolve and change, so can the quilt industry. The brick and mortar shop here in beautiful southern Oregon, was recently closed; however, the web store is still open and expanding! Here, you can stop in anytime night or day and browse for ideas and merchandise! My studio is now my shop, and looks like a smaller version of the former shop, and is open by appointment at this time. You can still visit, shop, take classes, or just fondle the fabric & browse through books and notions for a while. I am always happy to help you with any questions that you may have. Just bring in that problem project and let's take a look at it.
I specialize in batiks, hand-dyed wool, 30's reproductions, Civil War prints, along with a great selection of your favorites from top-of-the-line quilting fabric companies that you know and respect. Some of our fabric lines include Moda, Alexander Henry, Michael Miller, Northcott, Riley Blake, P & B, Fine Lines, RJR, Andover, Batik Textiles, Island Batik, Robert Kaufman, Benartex, and Blank, just to name a few.
I also sell new and vintage quilts and other high quality hand made products, and provide quilting service for your projects. I am one of the rare quilters that will also add a binding to your fine projects.
Please sign up for our newsletter, visit often, and come on in to see the web shop or the studio!
You are always welcome you and will always be greeted with a smile!
We appreciate your business!
